OnePod is designed as a short-term use workspace. We don't recommend using it as a full time office solution.
Unless you are speaking very loudly, others outside of the pod will not be able to eavesdrop on your private conversations within the pod.
It's quiet, but not too quiet. While it does a great job of absorbing sound, the dual fans emit about 19 dB of sound, providing a bit of white noise that keeps the pod from being eerily silent.
No, OnePod is only available with a white exterior and dark gray interior. You can, however, choose from 28 Wilsonart laminate finish options for the height adjustable work surface.
OnePod is a standalone unit not built into its surroundings, so it should not require a building or construction permit. It is always a good idea to check local building codes to be sure. Keep in mind the top of the OnePod should be at least 18" below any sprinkler deflector or discharge.
OnePod arrives in six pre-assembled modules plus a height adjustable work surface. With two people, the pod can be completely assembled in a few hours. You can also choose to let the White Glove experts assemble the OnePod for you. Choose this option while configuring your OnePod.
OnePod is powered by a 16' removable 120V 3-prong, grounded power cord.
No, the power-down window cannot be adjusted. About five minutes after the OnePod is vacated, the sensor will turn off the light and fans.
No, OnePod is designed with door hinges on the left side and a door handle on the right when facing the pod. The door opens outward and away from the pod. However, you can adjust the speed and tension with which it closes.
OnePod weighs about 885 lb when completely assembled. Fortunately, the casters installed beneath the pod base make it easy to move on smooth surfaces.
With the heavy duty casters engaged, it's easy to move with one or two people. Once you have the pod located where you want it, we recommend lowering the leveling feet to make contact with the floor, keeping the pod securely in place. See instructions for caster engagement details.
This phone booth comes in either gray (with a green interior) or charcoal (with a gray interior). Choose the colors that work best with your walls and office decor—or coordinate your design with some of our other UPLIFT Desk acoustic treatments.
